2011 Project Red Ribbon Campaign Launch
Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 12:01AM The Annual MADD (Calgary Chapter) Project Red Ribbon was launched Thursday, November 3rd, 2011. Ceremony was at the Whitehorn Tri Service Centre (#100, 3705 - 35 St. N.E., Calgary, Alberta). Event included addresses by all forms of emergency response, political dignitaries and sponsors speaking about the importance of sober driving. There also was a victim speak how drunk driving has impacted her and her families life. For pictures of this event, please click here.
Project Red Ribbon is a commitment by Canadians to drive safe and sober. It is a highly visible, community public awareness program which depends on volunteer participation to promote the message that deaths and injuries resulting from impaired driving are needless tragedies and totally preventable.
